The primary function of this position is to provide customer service to KM marine liquid terminal customers, including but not limited to: order processing, scheduling, bill of lading preparation and inventory level management. The incumbent communicates extensively with end-user operations personnel, partners, customers and government officials as needed.

Requirements for the position
- Coordinate with an assigned customer base that includes maintenance of all customer paperwork, installed systems and equipment.
- Communicate intimately with the customer's selected freight forwarders, surveyors, etc. regarding the movement of orders and products.
- Prepare orders for inbound and outbound trucks and barges daily, up to eight hours per day. Includes all relevant documents, extensive communication with truck drivers, customers and co-workers, and entering transactions into the Galahad database.
- The security rules and procedures specified in the Final Asset Security Plan are strictly followed.
- Accurate update/maintenance of the Galahad system. A wide range of storage systems knowledge and skills is required, including a deep understanding of the Galahad system. This requires detailed knowledge of inventory procedures, ie. e.g. enter and confirm incoming/outgoing movements, identify anomalies (profit and loss), generate reports, enter metrics and activate new contracts. Analyze the accuracy and responsiveness of production operations.
- Work with Operations, Associates, Developers, Measurements, Inspectors and Customers to coordinate warehouse transfer volumes. Uses inventory system information to respond to report requests and inquiries.
- Completes month end to ensure timely billing and customer information at month end.
- Respond to product performance analysis requests from various departments and customers.
- Prepare monthly and annual reports for authorities as required.
- Provide the necessary billing information to the purchase ledger.
- Monitor terminal costs and revenues and assist with weekly forecasting
- Assist the terminal manager when necessary. At least 1-2 years of customer service work experience in a corporate environment is required.
- Knowledge of final operations, including product movement and measurement, is considered an advantage.
- We require satisfactory driving experience as determined by the company and a valid national driver's license
- Must consistently demonstrate a courteous, professional demeanor when dealing with customer inquiries and interacting with co-workers.
- Must be receptive to instructions and suggestions from co-workers and evaluate accordingly.
Deal with routine customer requests, issues and questions that may require extensive research, complex reasoning and decision making.
You should have strong analytical skills.
- You must have very good computer skills and above average skills in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook. Working knowledge of Access is desirable.
- Balanced communication skills and strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Requires tact and diplomacy when dealing with external parties, which must also be balanced with determination in protecting company personnel, property or equipment.
- Should be able to take instructions from supervisors, maintain required work schedules, focus on details, follow operating instructions and follow work rules.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision and/or direction.
- Organizational skills and the ability to sequence tasks are important.
- Must be a problem solver with problem solving skills.
