About The Team
Specialization In Network Engineering In A Global Enterprise Environment. This Role Will Provide Network Engineering, Implementation, Analytical And Operational Support. The Network Engineer Intern Will Help Ensure Compliance With Established System Architecture, Regulations And Security Policies, Adhere To Standards And Best Practices, And Create And Maintain Supporting Documentation.
What Should You Do?
- Work Closely With Staff Network Engineers On Design And Initiatives.
- Maintain Existing Network Solutions In Manufacturing, Workplace, Retail And Data Center Environments. Acts As A Level 2-3 Escalation Point.
- Gather Requirements, Analyze And Design Solutions For Network Needs. Provision, Implement, Test/Verify And Maintain Network Services As Per Solution Design.
- Conduct A Product POC Evaluation. Monitor, Analyze And Report Network Service Metrics.
- Network And Operations Knowledge Base Document "Run-Book."
- Participate In Call Rotations (Possibly Weekends).
What To Take With You
He Is Currently Pursuing A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Related Field.
Experience In The Middle Of A Large Global Enterprise Network Infrastructure. You Know IP Networks, L2/L3 Network Protocols (Spanning Tree, OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, End-To-End QOS, VLAN, VRRP, LACP, MC-LAG, EVPN With VXLAN, ACL, Power Applications, NAC And Infrastructure Cabling.
