Position requires knowledge of federal, state and/or local environmental permits and regulations, particularly WA, OR, ID and MT. It is preferred to work from a home office located in Portland, Oregon or a surrounding state (WA, ID, MT) and you are willing to travel up to 25% of the time as needed. This position is in the Environmental Permits and Permits Division of the Corporate Environmental Services Division to support development opportunities for NextEra Energy Resources and other NextEra Energy subsidiaries.
The candidate must be able to support multiple projects at different stages of development with different environmental and regulatory issues. The selected candidate must maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant national and state-level environmental policies and regulations, be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, subject matter experts and other stakeholders. Must help ensure compliance with federal, state and local environmental regulations and company policies.
Job overview
