Why Do You Like This Job? This Job Is A Member Of The Technology Team Within American Airlines Credit Union. This Role Is Responsible For Providing First Level Technical Support And Employee/Vendor Support (Both Internal And External) Through The Credit Union Service Desk 24/7.
What Are You Doing?
- Providing Initial Assessment, Testing, Investigation And Resolution Of Incidents And Requirements Related To The Use Of Application Software Products And Infrastructure Components
- Provide Technical Support For (But Not Limited To) The Following Areas: Computer And Telecommunications Incidents, Desktop (Hardware/Software), Third Party Software/Hardware Applications
- Troubleshoot, Diagnose, And Resolve Complex Desktop, Network, Software Application, And Batch Scheduling Issues
Work To Create A Positive End-User Support Experience And Build Strong Relationships Through Deep Understanding Of The Problem, Timely Resolution Or Improvement, Prompt Communication Of Progress To All While Displaying A Professional Demeanor/Appearance.
- Log All Calls And Provide First Contact Triage Services, Monitor Service Levels, Provide Callbacks Or Escalate Open Tickets And Track All Systems And Scheduling In Hours And Completeness
- Diagnose And Resolve Application, Hardware, Network, And Procedural Issues As Needed
- Respond To Phone Calls, Emails And In-Person Technical Support In A Prompt, Friendly Manner And Have The Ability To Explain Technical Situations To Non-Technical Individuals
- Monitor And Support The Task Planning Business Plan (Opcon) System And All Batch Processing Of Credit Union Operations
- The Selected Candidate Will Be Responsible For Ensuring The Security And Confidentiality Of All Account And Related Information That Is Part Of Their Work And That Their Work Complies With All Applicable Laws And Regulations, Including But Not Limited To The Bank Secrecy Act. Minimum Qualifications - Education And Previous Experience
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Management Information Systems Or Related Field Or Two Years Of Equivalent Progressive Experience
Preferred Qualifications - Education And Previous Work Experience
- Experience With Technology Services
- Experience With Desktop Operating Systems, Server Operating Systems And Related Applications (Browser, Shareware)
- Get An Overview Of Managing Microsoft Applications, Including Installing And Supporting Browsers And Microsoft Office
- Knowledge And Experience In Providing Technology Support And Troubleshooting Hardware Components Such As Laptops, Keyboards, Mice, Monitors, Printers, Docking Stations, Etc.
- Knowledge And Experience With Audiovisual Technology Support For Conference Rooms And Common Areas Of The Building
